A buddy is looking for a launcher, preferably remote. Anyone have one around their not using?

There is some for sale on the net I will PM you. Glad to see this is for your buddy, you have no need for one, LOL.

LOL! Yes, he's pretty bummed we can't share the purchase price on one of these. Not to mention I don't think he's all that excited to hunt behind a flushing dog anyways, but I could give a rat's a$$ :p

thanks for the PM. I'm responding backk...

c_d where do you live? If your near me we could get together and use mine. I think there OK but you don't really need one. Buy a manual one way cheaper not as nice but same idea for $300 less.

hahahah NO WAY!!

I will not be fostering the flash point I saw her pull the other day. I have to admit, it was damn funny watching her rear back on her hind legs and dive in fist, er, paws first. Does anyone else's springer do that? Fillmore does it all the time with her toys – like she's on some medical show using a defibrulator.

Thanks for the offer, but I'm nice and warm in the California. I'm just pointing my buddy in the direction (he's not yet hooked on bird dog forums) to find a used one.

It's on the way, but its got 2 mountain ranges and a lot of country to cross so expect it around mid march.:D Don't worry though cause its getting harder for us middle class people to afford the sunshine. I am looking to move out of here soon. I'm thinking about northeast Oregon so I still have close access to my precious quail.

C_d my dog does that same pounce thing all the time. He will flush a moving bird hard, sometimes even pulling tail feathers from a rooster, but when a bird holds tight to cover he has that hesitate and pounce problem. This bad habit just arose in about the last month of quail season, but I plan on trying to remedy it during the off season. Any tips on that Fc?
