Thinking about a late season trip. Anyone have a report from Marion/Logan counties? I know the pheasant numbers are down but quail numbers worth the trip?
If you have access to private it's probably worth the trip. In western/northwestern Marion county you'll probably see a few pheasants, but I'd be shocked if you saw any in Lyon county.
Looks like it's going to thaw out the last week. But we all know what the roads will be like. We got some contacts, so I guess we'll find out. If it doesn't happen, I'll have to settle for some chukar shoots.
Still snow on the ground here at the Ponderosa, but next three days will have high temps around 50 will take care of that. Hopefully, three days will help dry out the ground, especially where the drifts have been.
