Sometimes it is hit and miss for one person but I asked everyone I came across and everyone I talked to didn't get anything. Even last year which wasn't a good year, some people got birds last year. When I dropped off my permit at the check station after 12:00PM, there was only one bird taken up to that point. An old timer told me it was one of the worst he ever experienced. Only saw a couple of hens.
