Worms….

Took the dog in for some shots and found out he had worms. Surprised not surprised and no big deal. Never thought or had to deal with it. Do you guys de worm on a regular routine? Just have vet check? Interested in your thoughts

You probably should do once a month but just looking at their feces usually can see rice shaped worms if they have them in my experience. Eating anything dead and turkey or deer poop Id guess is how mine get it.

My male Vizsla tested positive for heart worms a few months ago. We've been doing the multi months long treatment for them. He gets retested on the 23rd. I give all my dogs a monthly med. Previously gave Spectrum but that obviously didn't work...so all got switched over to Heartgard.

Always a good idea to get your dogs checked.

I do heart worm once a month. You do the other de worming once a month?
