Anybody else seeing birds this winter. Numbers seem pretty solid in my areas. Hoping we have a good hatch this summer!

Looks great! I read your post about buying your piece, did you get around to making any of those improvements or are they still a work in progress?

I got approval from the NRCS to do ‘early successional habitat’ work on 22.5 acres. That will begin this spring with a burn on 10 acres. The only thing that’s been done so far is disking in some firebreaks.

Ha, yea. He’s got some competition tho… At least 4 different roosters on the property both times I’ve ran the dogs out there since season closed.
