Wild Pheasants in Centre County?

In previous threads I have talked about having a handful of pheasants around our farm in the past few years. With added effort from participating landowners, I think we could have something truly special. Cutting down to the nitty gritty here... Would anyone be willing to assist with some habitat projects in the coming years? Located near Woodward.

Wow, that response is defining. Wish I was close enough to help. We have absolutely nothing in Va. (S.W.) any where really.

Mason - just seeing your post. I am willing to help with elbow grease and money and can possibly get others to participate.

I work for partners for us fish and wildlife, so i have access to a drill. we have a tractor and all the implements necessary to do the work already. Basically what I want to do is improve fence lines and seed prairie. pm me if any of y’all are interested in anything we’re doing! thank you!

I have a camp in elk county pa. I was told from a buddy of mine that was hunting out of our camp that he saw pheasants in elk state forest off a particular road. The guy is no dummy and the closest the game commission stocks is 40 miles away. In addition there are few camps near this area and its pretty far in past the gate that was unopened. I do think there are some birds left around just not sure how many or where.
