Wi dnr!

Two weeks ago I went to watch a NSTRA field trial in Eagle, WI. It was on state park land so I had to pay a fee. I did not have exact change and it was just a drop box. So I assumed I was kissing the extra money good bye. Well today in the mail I received the change back. What great ethics, I wish all state organizations ran with the same level of ethics.
Way to be a role model WI DNR!

I agree but it does state that right on the envelope or window at the shack. I chased roosters there a bunch last Fall.

That's suprising and really good of them.
If only they were as careful with their money as they were with yours.

:)

Don't confuse the field wardens with the political administration. With one noteable exception, the enforcement folks have been very decent folks...much nicer than I would be in their position.

(Turns out, Gov. Walker sold three weeks of Spring to finance his national campaigns.)

Only bitch I've got about game wardens is there isn't enough of them.

I'm certainly not a hater of the wdnr the amount of hunters, fisherman, lakes, and public lands we have I think overall they do a good job.

I just think there is a lot of waste they could get rid of.

(Scott Walker probably overlooked the creation of spring while he was creating a surplus)

You're full of bullshit...Wtf you can't do or buy hardly anything for $20 but you can buy a fishing license for a year and fish thousands of different lakes, with boat ramps, bathrooms, fish stocking programs, handicap access, and a variety of fish to be had.

If your post wasn't serious then ignore mine.

Maybe it's global warming or something, but Wisturk and I actually agree on something. :) We have some of the best fishing in the world in Wisconsin and its a bargain for $ 20. DNR fisheries management is generally pretty darn good.

When you're right you're right...

I can't imagine somebody who fishes more than a few weekends a year saying $20 is expensive. You're spending so much more on gas,and tackle how can you even notice $20. What's that 3 packs of senkos?

What's a global warming? Kids next door were sledding this morning during spring break.

After all of the income, property, and sales tax I pay to the state of WI on top of all the DMV crap and other random fees I'm not too thrilled about paying over $20 to put a line in the water to catch a fish. Obviously I still pay it because I don't want a massive fine for fishing without a license, but that doesn't mean I have to be happy about paying for it.

I would have to concur. They tax the money you make. what you try to save, what you spend...like he said. When will this endless gouging cycle stop? The bloodflow has to subside before we become too anemic to do anything. Last time I bought a fishing license $7.50.
Glad you got your change back, Shorthairs. Buy a lottery ticket...or me a beer;)
