hi folks the birds are there like it or not. i hunt n. w. kansas and after 5 really short days using two dogs am at 15 birds and i use a 14 ga. muzzle loader, so, there ya have it. more than lower number of birds are skimpier places to hunt, nearly all my birds are last years, problem! no quail where i hunt, just turkeys. headed out again on the 10th. wish ya all luck from evans colorado
