What do you guys think of this bird??

That's a phase I've only seen two or three times in the wild. It does appear in pen birds here and there. The nick name for that phase is "peal". From what I know of this type/phase it dose not have anything to do with being albino. :)--1pheas4
 
Wow is that what deer horns look like? Here in oregon we only get to shot one deer a year unlike back east. I didnt know if he was hunting deer and pheasants in the same place same time?

Nope, just walked up on the skull with both antlers intact. No bullet holes, so who knows what happened. It was on public land.
 
Good call on the "Buff" Rooster... I did a little google searching on that, and thats about the closest I've seen to what this bird looks like.

I did the same search and you are right Buff. But I still can't be shure. It's well worth mounting ! I can't say ive ever shot one like it. Spence good for and thank you for sharing the pic's. Awsome looking bird. As stated it must be the oldest rooster in kansas. As I would have called it a HEN. :coolpics::thumbsup::)
