Just returned from our annual pheasant hunting trip, and I must say I was very pleased to see the turn around in the bird population. From what we have seen the last two year's I was a little concerned that our pheasant hunting as we know it might be in some jeopardy. (After 24 year's I guess I should know better.) We hunt mostly private land, and some crep, and found numerous bird's in almost all type's of cover. Not only did we flush a lot of hen's, but many young rooster's to boot. With a relatively mild winter, and decent spring I can only imagine what next year could be like! As usual my friend's out in S.D. were awesome!!
