Western NE

[GSP-Rooster Control]

Trying to plan a trip to Western NE somewhere close to either Grant or Imperial. Anyone seeing birds/good habitat close to either of those towns? Just trying to get a sense for what area might be best, not looking for hot spots. Doesn't look like a ton of public land, was planning on knocking on some doors.

Ended up with 6 Roosters. Had to work hard for them! Primarily hunted WAI land but had our best luck on some private land we were able to get on.

Any pics? Glad you got into them. I go by the rule "you never know unless you get out and try" . I used to hunt some private areas in Nebarska. I haven't been back in awhile. Too far when I can get birds here in my own state. But I do love the adventure.
