Gann Valley to Huron--Large hail and tornados and lots of rain

It was WESSINGTON SPRINGS turn tonight as photos are now on KELO TV out of Sioux Falls showing MAJOR damage to the town.

All this is not good for the birds or the people who live here--a few prayers would be in order.

I just saw some footage of the damage out there on the morning news.:(

Best of luck to those folk out there and Nebraska too.
 
No injuries reported after a tornado touches down is a best case scenerio. Some wild weather around the country these days.

We have hunted out of WS for three of the past six years. Talked to the farmer that we know there and he said the early warning saved many lives. Patrol cars were going up and down the street at least a half hour before it hit, warning people to take cover. Sounds like they really had the town battened down when it hit. Both bars where we rehydrate after long days in the field were flattened, along with a car dealership and a number of houses. Early warning made all the difference there. It was a nice area to hunt, and I hope to go back there soon.
