Well what's this weather doing to the birds?

Pheasants that have the heavy shelter and a readily available food supply will keep going. Those that don't/didn't have perished a long time ago.
 
Its messing up habitat, when you see those pictures of Worthington and Luverne area, the woody habitat is taking it in the shorts.

Always tough to see these late storms hitting them, after an easy winter in SW MN

Pretty tough on the people down there too!!!
 
Winter Storm Warning and 6-12 inches of snow forecasted for late tonight through Sunday for WC, C and NW MN and Eastern ND.

Waaaaaay below normal temps. I'm done plowing snow, I'm driving through the shyt.:confused:
I got to get my Wife to work.:thumbsup:
 
We had the big snow melt this past week. Gone except for the drifts and shaded areas. Lakes are still iced over.
 
I hate hearing about these late winter storms, but with the right habitat the birds should be okay. Let's hope for ideal weather from here on out!
