Weekend Rain

Hello Iowans,

Was thinking about heading up that way tomorrow for a few days. The NWS is calling for quite a bit of rain. What are the area forecasts saying? Is it supposed to dump all at once, or rain all day? Probably be poking around Spencer maybe, haven't really made up my mind yet.

Channel 9 forecast this morning was calling for 2" plus starting Saturday through Sunday evening. Weatherman said it was going to be a swath covering the entire viewing area which is basically I-35 east to the Mississippi, north to south borders. Occasional thundershowers thrown in on a two day steady rain.

Doesn't look real encouraging. Sorry.

Ended up with a good head cold or I probably would have went.. Guess it was a sign!
