Weather Question

My dad, brother, and I are planning to drive from Alabama and hunt this weekend through the middle of next week. My plans (thanks to help from this forum) are to hunt around northern Osborne county but am flexible and willing to drive to anywhere but the western quarter of the state. We will be hunting WIHA. We are interested in quail and pheasant. What affect will this recent storm have on the hunting. There is no snow forecast during our stay but it will be cold and I am unsure about the projected snow cover and how long it will be a factor Are there any areas I should avoid based on the snow? From what I've heard this could be good for the pheasant but how about quail?

Thanks.

Depending on how cold it gets, it could be pretty miserable hunting but sometimes the birds sit pretty tight after a storm like the one we are getting here tonight. If you are not used to driving on the snow and ice covered roads be careful and be cautious about the drifts while trying to navigate the country roads.
Good luck, I'm going to Graham county next week on Tuesday and hope the weather is better by then.

I think you picked a good location to start your hunt. I will be in the area starting Thursday morning. Good luck.
