Just wanted to remind everyone that we need to be watching the roads for farmers on tractor and combines. Last week in Valley Falls my friend was feeding bales with his tractor when a car came over the small hill and hit him from behind at 60 mph. The impact thru him off the tractor and he luckly landed on his feet in the CRP in the ditch. Both he and the drive walked away from it with minor injuries. The tractor was hit so hard it broke it in half! This is a good reminder to slow down on hills and curves and please keep you eyes on the road. Oh yeah also dont swerve for deer. 3 friends have been killed this year. the rut is on and they are moving. Good luck and be safe! Heading to Abilene next weekend to KICK'EM UP!
