Has anyone hunted around Washington this year? How are the walk in areas? I would like to go out further west but time wont permit it. So I have to keep it close to KC.

a guy who i know bird hunts lots said theres birds out there he said a guy doesnt need to go farther west that was when there was tons of snow when he was out there
 
Thanks Did he say north or south of 36 hwy? I have some private land by Axtell but wanted to try something new. I am going to try to go end of the week Thur or Friday.
