I know the e-collar issue has been beat around pretty good before on this site but I would encourage you to buy either a TriTronics or Dogtra for all the reasons previously stated by other members and myself.
I've had the Dogtra 202NCP gold for 6 years and never had a problem. They don't make the 202 anymore so take alook at the 282NCP Platinum. Great collars for the money. If you decide what collar you want you might find it a little cheaper on the web someplace.
