I live in SD. Work driving a truck and get out a bunch. This stuff seriously changes the game of winter wear. I've laughed at a 30 below wind chill. Absolutely stops the wind. It's a winter gauntlet. It's so good. I only want to go out in the deep cold with my 'work clothes' on. And I'm perfectly comfortable in it.
I have both the jacket and bib overalls.

Yes it's black. Just use a safety vest.
EDIT: Wanted to add.. This coat is surprisingly thin. Isn't bulky. It works great.
I also own a couple Filson's. Great coats. But this Polar is exceptional.
