i am planning a hunt in iowa the last 4 days of our season. i have had a great year close to 40 bagged:D. thanks mostly to south dakota trips. i am planning on going with my kids 11 and 13 and some friends. my plans are to carry my video camera more than my gun. i have tried to do that in the past but it never quite worked out. the gun was always more fun:thumbsup:. :cheers:
 
LOL, Yep the go pro hero I have and it straps on your head, so you can shoot and film your self miss :D. I was going to use it the other day to film a couple of us, and I strapped it on and cast the dog off only to find out the batterys were dead. DAAA:rolleyes::D OH well next time. We ended up flushing a bunch of hens and no rudy's any way. Have fun on your trip. I plan to film our training trial this weekend.

how much is that cam? after all the hunting trips this year i'm already in my wifes crosshairs :D. :cheers:

I have the opposite problem. Phez season ended before christmas for me and mother wants me and the dog to start making regular trips to one of 2 hunting preserves that are 2 hrs. away on a regular basis to get out of the house.She's talking 2 or more times a week.

After watching some of the youtube links on this site, I ordered one of the POV cameras after Christmas. The most popular brands were over 50% off retail price. I found one that retailed for over $300 that I bought for $119 and it came with a free extra battery. I suspect those deals are probably still out there.:thumbsup:

I received a GoPRO Hero 2 for Christmas from my wonderful wife. All hunts from here on out will be caught in full HD quality. Now the only question is where to mount the camera, on the gun, on the dog, on my head. The options are limitless. Keep an eye out for the first video soon.

Should arrive next week. SuperSaver free shipping... I think the camera visited several extra states and may have travelled by mule train for a few days...:laugh::laugh:
