uph get together in kansas

hey guys. i do alot of pheasant hunting in kansas. usually in wakeeny or hill city area. i normally go with just me and the dog. i think it would be really cool to get a bunch of uph guys for a weekend hunt thinking maybe a couple of weeks after opening day? just a thought i would probally be pretty fun. we could always rotate out dogs. derrick

I think it is a great idea. I just hadn't suggested it yet for fear of rejection. We do this with a catfishing site that I'm a member of and it is a great time. However, catfishing doesn't have the same safety implications as does pheasant hunting when you consider doing it with people you don't know. I am game for it though despite the potential risk and would commit to meeting with any/all of you. Let's see what everyone else thinks and we'll go from there.

yeah i know. you would have to put alot of trust in people. so maybe when the time comes closer we could get together and maybe do some scouting or something and have some supper in town? just a thought. figured i would throw it out there for anyone that is interested. even if its just a couple of people. i just wanted to meet some new guys that loved to pheasant hunt. a couple guys in the field with some dogs is better than me and my dog alone. thanks. derrick
