Uninsulated Danner Pronghorns For Early Season...

I got a pair of proghorns 5 years ago. I've got them in the rotation along with 2 pairs of wingshooters and muck boots. They are comfy and grip well, but I will say the waterproofing is much better in the irish setters, from the boots I've tried.

I said similar. I bought a pair when they first came out. They started leaking in a week. Sent them back and they sent me another pair and a pocketknife. In their defense the second pair I wore in melting snow for two days. They started leaking on the second day. I sent them back and kept the pocketknife.

I never wear insulated bird hunting boots. Just use better socks inside moccasin toe Russell boots.

Had them for probably 10 years and good as new, dry, and comfortable.

My feet got a little cold for the first time ever while pheasant hunting. New years day -6 air temp. Uninsulated boots. Only thing I'd do different is wear a little thicker sock next time.
