Two weeks!!

Two weeks from tomorrow we're heading to South Dakota for a "whole" week. Pretty damn excited. Among our group is my buddy since 4th grade. (I'm 47 now) He's been flying in from TN the last 5 years. Kicker is we come back Sunday and I leave the following weekend for Wisconsin deer opener. I am very blessed to have a (well off) buddy that owns 500 acres that him and his dad have set up for strictly deer hunting. This is like a place you see on TV. I am also very blessed to have a super cool wife

Anyone else with big plans?

back out to sd this wed-sun...then back out the 12th-16th and 19th-23'rd...then to nd again the 3-7th of dec...then back to sd the 17th-21st of dec...then back for the finale (weather permitting) around jan 1st...was in nd for trip #1 of the season 9/12-9/20 hunting sharps...then in sd for phez opener, only hunted sat/sun...looking forward to the corn coming out!

Just got back from South Dakota. Its always a good time! 5 or us hunted 4.5 days and shot a total of 50 birds. We hunted 95% public. There are plenty of birds and the corn is comming down quick out there. Good luck out there sounds like you will do just fine.

Leave for SD next Saturday and hunt Sunday-Thursday with some Iowa guys. Then head back over again Nov. 23 for another 5 day hunt. Then it's off to pick out the new pup I have coming when I get home from the Christmas holidays in Mexico...

Oh and I have to get some work done in between all that....

Holy smokes! What a schedule that is! :thumbsup: I'll be up there mid nov. Can hardly wait.

Hunted last week in Sargent co. N.D. and Marshall,Day Co. S.D. Hunted public and private in both states. 3old farts 2dogs 38 birds most on private in ND. IMO SD in this area is still down . Most of the corn was down so can't use that as an excuse. Will be back in early December. Hot weather and hunting two states is hard on dogs, lots of breaks.
