Trip finalized

Finalized my 2016 trip to SD will be heading out November 5th, hunt 6-10th and travel home on the 11th. Think I will be stopping by Vikings new stadium on the way home. Can't wait for the trip, dogs are getting into shape chasing grouse and woodcock here in Michigan.

How is the grouse and woodcock hunting this year. Thinking about heading up there this weekend letting the dog run a bit, then head out west thru the up sometime mid week, next week. I'm not real happy with the new pricing they charge out of state hunters in Mi.

How's the salmon run? I usually hunt Lewiston, Lovells area.

Not sure on salmon run, been to busy chasing birds. Bird numbers are good, still a lot of leaves on trees so good shooting opportunities are slim. Look in the Michigan forum for more grouse talk.
