Got a reminder. Always looking for a place to hold a field trial. Approx 200 pheasants released each time. Let me know if you have something. CRP Canada rye free. Club insured, clean, and designated gun team well trained. Never a mess or issue. Most want us back for the birds. But we like to use new fields.
 
I too am looking for places in western Minnesota to hold our NSTRA trials. We need 2 fields of approx. 40 acres. If the fields are larger that is fine, as we can just stake off the area we want to use. Prefer that both fields be next to or quite close to each other with a buffer area between them so we don't have dogs from one field getting into the other. Also need an area of 5-10 acres adjacent to the field for our headquarters, parking, etc.

Our trial last weekend used 600 birds with estimated 250 released. We use all adult pheasants. It is a great way to boost your population, and also you can have a little hunt after the trial if you choose, because of our permit for the event. Please PM me if you have a spot you want loaded up with pheasants, or know someone. Takes about a day and a half or 2. Thanks
 
FC, what do you need as far as type and size of fields? We couldn't have our NSTRA trial this past weekend that was schedule in the Morris, MN area so I found some ground west of Gary, SD to hold it. Took a lot of work at the last minute to get it changed but it worked out well. We will be having another trial by Morris the first weekend in May. If those ground are decent I could let you know. But I need to know what you need.

Do you just use 1 field?
 
1&2nd series run the same coarse. 3rd we move. If the field is big enough to run in another area great. Or we sometimes find another spot near by. For a 3rd it can be smaller. Would like some where between Glennwood and St Cloud, Alexandria area. Or any where outside the metro.
