this is for you Steve....aka SetterNut.......got to finally do some bird work with buddy of mine in northern Illinois today....he raises ..trains and trials setters...he's got some awesome dogs....poor guy only has 800+ acres to train on.....everything from brushy lowland cover like in this pic to rolling prairie ground....he also raises and sells quail and pheasants...he's a horrible guy to be friends with...lol

Where at in Northern Il? I have a 5 month old pup, that I would like to get on a few quail in between hunts and was just looking for a place to get some. I've found places that are selling Hen pheasants for 9 and 10 bucks but I wouldn't mind spending less.
