Trail cam coyote pic jan 2008 and jan 2015

I got this first pic Jan 2008 then the next pic Jan 2015 both within 50 yards in the same grove . What's the chances its the same one,
you know how many pics I get and they are the only ones I ever got with just one ear.

I say it is the same coyote. The one in the bottom picture is an old coyote.

Does anyone know the typical life span of a coyote in the wild? My domestic dogs with all the vet treatment in the world only live 10-14 years. I would imagine if this is the same coyote that it is on the upper end of how long they live in the wild. Pretty cool pics and thoughts though.

I say it is the same one. It looks like it is much older in the second pic. The chances it is the same one are greater than 2 coyotes in the same location with one ear!!:coolpics:

The life span of a coyote in the wild is believed to be 10-14 years, also. 'Yotes are amazingly adaptable creatures.
