The Grasslands are historically marginal,that's why it's not privately owned.Someone tried to make a living off of it and couldn't,abandoned it and it reverted back to the Feds.It's primary use these days is grazing leases,off roading and big game.Haven't been S of Pierre for a few months but there was some decent growth on the far South end.There's some WIA there,as well.

Personally, I'm sick and tired of paying more and paying more and paying more. If my salary went up at the same rate.....fine. Of course it won't stop me from hunting, but it's the same old thing everybody wants a cut and then they want some more........ something needs to stop.
