The real meaning of Memorial Day

Ladies and gentlemen tomorrow when you find yourself doing whatever it may be for the holiday be sure to take a moment to remember what this day is really for. For those that have gave us the rights we enjoy both past and present.
 
If I knew how to do it I'd post some ww2 pics that I have. Some are of my granddad that served in the french army and worked with the u.s. army and some are of my dad in the army during ww2; that's how he met my mother. My mother worked as a translater for the u.s. army at a rail yard the army used as a depot for supplies.
 
Great point H4F. Memorial day is just that; A memorial. It should be held in the highest regard. ;)
