The breeders we got the dogs from are ND fans. I tell people we rescued the dogs. Hackenberg did what I thought a freshman would do, some good and some bad plays. We will be going to the game next week with the boys. Lets hope for another good weekend.
 
I am sure your boys are like mine, they know the other game is about to start also. There's a different bounce to his step, and then there's that look in his eyes! All the dogs I've ever shared life with knew when bird season was just around the corner, it's in their blood...mine too!
 
You're right, they do seem to know. I plan to take the gun out tomorrow and hope a few doves pass by in the evening. Just over a month until the first junior pheasant hunt of the year. :cheers:
 
Patiently waiting for the cold weather. Glad to see the lions win yesterday. Joe would be proud. Can't understand why they continue to play freshman quarterbacks. A kid just out of high school is always going to have a tough time. By the time he's a senior though he should be great with all the experience. Lost a few CREP farms in the WPRA this year. Hope to start signing up new ones next year. If corn stays down in price we should do better. It was below $5.00 a bushel a few weeks ago and then bumped up again. Switchgrass fields we planted in the last couple years are looking good. More to plant before things get really good.
 
I was wondering how things were going up in your area. I would think this spring should have been a pretty good one for broods. I think most people are waiting for cooler weather. It should get a little better in a couple of days.

They have two choices at QB this year. A freshman or a sophomore who is a junior college transfer. With no post season play, I don't think it maters.
