I'm sure everyone is going to find this hard to believe but my father and I shot 3 Tennessee red quail while hunting a covey of bobwhites in Nebraska. I'm not sure what to think on how they got there. A farmer stopped us on the way out and told us a guy came in the spring and let them out every half a mile. He also said he has a covey that eats out of his yard a few miles a way that has 5 of them in the covey. A guy in town told us that the state let them out to try to get them started. Does anyone know anything about them Or how they got there ? Thanks Chris
