Tag a long looking for hunting experience

Hi there I am a newly licensed hunter in north central CO, I am looking to tag a long with experienced, safety minded hunters to get a feel for all aspects of an actual hunt, safety, strategy, gear etc. I am interested in upland, waterfowl and small game hunts. I wouldn't plan on bringing a firearm I just want to go to learn the ropes. If you wouldn't mind taking a newbie please let me know.

We would be more than happy to help. We will be hunting Ohio, KS, SD and MO. from nov till feb.
We also have beagles and hunt rabbits.

Jen here in about 2 weeks the colorado board will come to life, There are alot of us here. It wont take long to find someone to take you out. Your more than welcome to meet up with me.
 
Just waiting on this "Indian summer" weather to cool a bit, and we'll start hitting the reserve about an hour east of C. springs Navy'. I'm always, "more than happy", to introduce a prospective new hunter to the game!
 
Another Newbie

I'm also looking to go for my first pheasant hunt. Any of you CO hunters use any of those outfitters south of Denver? I travel here for work 2-3 days per week and got my CO license for dove hunting. Looking to try Pheasant hunting soon!
 
Cowdog said it well... I am just back checking this site from last year. I have had GREAT experiences meeting guys from here... I am sure you will have not problems finding people.

Not sure on other people's opinion, but hoofing it around the prairie without a gun seems kinda silly to me... if you come along with me (and you are welcome) would sure think bringing a gun makes more sense...

I will be going out around Christmass time. You are more than welcome to tag along. It will be my first hunt with my dog. She is in trainning right now so im not sure how she will do. Im sure it will be fun and excitting.

Hey Navy_Jen,

Just hunted with with Grouchyolddude and HAD A BLAST!!! We hunted over at Rocky Mountain Roosters and it was AMAZING!!! Learned a lot and downed some birds too! I'll be trying to get together with him again soon if you're interested. I'm still all smiles from the hunt today!
