Sylmar, Cuga or Other?

Thank you. Got my Cuga this week. Echo is hurt again. Hopefully staples are out in a week, and I get to try it out in the field. Appreciate it.
 
I purchased the Cuga this last year and used it a couple times, she has chafing using it and she did get caught on some barb wire out in South Dakota opening day. Six stitches after the vest ended by her rear leg. I don't blame the vest for that one she was going hard on a retrieve and tried going in-between two strands of wire. Vet bill wasn't bad 137 bucks but lost a couple of days with her. Think I might go back to the Mendota skid plate she had no chafing using that one.
 
Thank you for the insight. Sorry for the accident. I don't get enough coverage with a skid plate. With Echo on the shelf, I will hunt my 18m old for the first time on wild birds (tomorrow). She will be dressed in a Cuga vest. I will let you know the results. Chafing is a concern. Let's see what happens.
