Switching Inukshuk?

Season just ended and my gsp has maybe a weeks worth of 32/32 Inukshuk left. I noticed the difference kn this vs her old. Should I switch to a lower protein/fat for the off season?

That's what I did last year, but I never had my lab on 32/32, he was on 30/25 the whole season. My setter was on 32/32.

I used to blend over to a higher protein/fat recipe of the same brand of food, until about the 3rd time my vet my told me to quit doing that. Use a maintenance formula year around now.

Did her weight stay steady through the hunting season?
Tough telling exactly as I didnt weigh her. She was looking a little thin on the mix of high energy Diamond Naturals/regular Diamond Naturals. Seems to be a little fuller looking on the 32/32.

I feed pro plan 30/20, my old dog started at 70 lbs and today weighs 58, young dog only went 45 to 39. To be fair my old dog started the season a little heavy, this year the summer goal is to keep him at 65

And I’m feeding more than 2 cups in season, he’s on 3 cup once a day

This year I fed Innukshuk 30/25 all year. My 65lb Setter gets 2.5-3cups, my (should be) 60lb lab gets 1.5 cups. They are loose outside so they burn more energy than most, especially the setter. They didn't lose any weight that wasn't extra this season. I switched to Innukshuk the tail end of last year, I couldn't keep weight on my setter with the food i had(Victor Hi-Pro).

Curious as to which type setter you have? 65 would be heavy for the English setters I have known. If it's a golden other then field bred it might be light.🙂

He's an English Setter and you're right, 59lbs last time I had him at the vet, he's just so much bigger framed than my lab it messes with my thinking.
