The neighbor shot a couple black birds at his bird feeder and dropped them off .I put one at each den site

An amazing transformation. Amazing pictures, also. thanks, Chuck. I don't have foxes, but my baby robins flew today. I've had a nest in my apple tree every year for 30+ years; I figure that they're birds from the same family line. A fox squirrel got the first clutch of eggs; it won't do that ever again. 2nd clutch made it. Keeps me busy in May & June keeping the crows & starlings away. Robins are extremely devoted parents; I've seen the male drive-off many predatory scavengers. My dog keeps the yard cat-free & he knows to leave the robins alone.
