Just got back from our trip to Kansas. Two of my three sons and I arrived late Tuesday night and stayed in Jetmore at the spacious apartment provided by the local motel. Met the owner Wednesday morning and found out the building was an old hospital...kinda of creepy, but it was warm. We then stayed at the cabin provided by Travis Ruff at progundog.com. We had six GSP's with us and hunted them in pairs. Hunted Wed, Thurs, and Fri morning and came away with many pheasants and a few quail. Great time to hunt as there was no one else in the fields. Thanks to all of you in KS that we ran into or met along the way. Bought two more GSP's from Travis and headed home with 8. Good luck to all of you who hunt the rest of the season. I am headed to the Elkhart area in a few weeks. Let me know if you want to join me or need an extra gun; I'll have two dogs with me.

Excellent! Congratulations:cheers: It seems were hearing quite a few good reports from across the state. This will make it tough on those "internet scouters" to decide where to go. Keep the stories coming guys!
