Still after birds

Ended up getting 2. Don’t usually shoot more than one around here but it was big acres and I seen a few other roosters. Did some poor shooting in SoDak last week and needed today. 2 shots 2 birds. Me and my dog are making a great team but she still goes mach10. My finger is on the tone button always

Rough public ground that’s been our nemesis in the past. Wear yer chaps. Gotta work for them and I’ve missed 2 in last few years. Shady dog was unbelievable. We worked this bird for quite awhile, kept running away. I had to loop bigger and bigger around her points to finally get him. Best hunt this season.

Yes they’re wild, always skunked me before. Can’t say I looked him over to tell how old.
