I just moved to Kansas and i am living in Pratt. I was wondering if anyone knew of any good public ground around the area or how ieasy is it to get permission to hunt?

Download the walk-in hunting atlas from KDWP. It shows the 1.1 million plus acres of public hunting in Kansas. That's a great place to start looking for good hunting spots. Doubt if anyone is going to contact you to come hunt their private, non-walk-in enrolled land. Good luck hunting this season.
