Statewide rifle use finally a reality.

Holy Moses, I have know your dad for a long time. Tell him hi and that I hope we can get together deer hunting a few days this year. I have been hunting with your grandfather since about 1959. I still remember when you dad and uncle were old enough to start deer hunting. We sure had some good times back then!!!

I sort of figured when you told me where you grew up that you guys knew each other. I will tell him that you said hello. We aren't going to be going up north deer hunting this year, so he will be around and looking for someone to hunt with.

Holy Moses, tell your dad that youper and the lab man sure would like to hunt with him. In the past we have hunted with him Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays, hopefully that will work again for him. lab man

well, it turns out that a few local towns have decided to not allow rifles.

the ones i have heard of are:

town of fond du lac
germantown
Holland
town of belgium

good luck to all that are hunting

That's just in the town limits, right?

BTW, I killed my first deer with a rifle this year. One well placed clean shot. Having a scope and a flat round sure does help v. a rifle slug that might come out of the barrel sideways and fly like a Phil Niekro knuckle ball.

Yes and no I guess. those are "townships". reading across the net, it appears that wisconsin differs from many states in having townships. you hunt in the town of marshfield I believe. Town of Marshfield wanted to ban rifles, but nobody on the board wanted to be the one who brought it up I heard.
