Just wanted to see what anybody has heard about how the pheasant hunting and sclaed quail looks this year in the Walsh/springfield area...
I have heard that there are quite a few scaled quail in that area. Can anyone point me to a general area where my yellow and I could get into a covey or two?
I know the drought hit that area pretty hard last year. Have pheasants come back in good numbers with this year's rain?
Looking at the map, there seems to be some Walk-ins to hunt down there. Is it possible that a poor teacher could get on to some private land(later in the season) by knocking on doors?
