Had two days of great hunting on private land in Jones County. Corn and milo just getting cut so even better hunting is ahead.

BC, we are trying to keep hunters out of the state and you are not helping
Yeah, right.
I was with BC in Jones County and agree: the best is yet to come.
A very hard freeze would assist the walking, as it's very muddy with standing water in the draws and some ditches. And crops need to be harvested...too many places to hide.
Good ditches that border cut or standing crops were productive, at times.
While we didn't see giant flocks, hunting was good and fun had by all.
