Tried pheasant hunting for the 1st time and failed miserably. Any seasoned hunters willing to share some solo hunting tactics? I travel to the Nebraska and hunt the walk in program. May try Kansas this year. Biggest issue I had was birds running and flushing way out of shooting range. Any advice sure would be appreciated.
