Hey guys what's up and merry x-mas. Hope upland season is going good for you guys. I live in southern California and I've traveled couple hours to find this Damn chukar and I'm in all the right places but all I wanted to do was just see one run up a hill or something I would of been happy :) me and two of my friends have tried and tried not even one! I know the drought is bad but Damn I've had pretty decent luck with quail but yet to even See a wild chukar! I have a gsp that we use but still no luck :mad: any of you have luck southern part of Cali?
 
I've moved a few chukar in the Mojave National Preserve. Camp out at hole in the wall, you'll here them calling all around.:thumbsup:
 
It's a camp ground in MNP. Nice central spot to base out of. Chukar are in the hills directly surrounding the camp ground and lots of gambels quail in the draws and washes.
 
No problem, beautiful country down there.
