Hey Guys, So I bought a Go Pro Hero 5 and now I need help with how to set it up for bird hunting. I currently have 4 batteries, 2-64gb SD cards, Head mount, and three battery charger. What settings do you guys that have Go Pro's use? I have never done this before so any help would be great.

Thanks

Eddie

Eddie, I have the same set up. I don't make any specific changes to the settings. Just make sure you are in the video mode when you press record. I missed a lot of action over the last few years because I thought I had pressed record. If you go on a walk, you will drain a fully powered battery in about 45m.

Yea, I don't need a third party cameraman showing all my misses and and mistakes. I need to be in control of editing!

Plus it is hard enough just getting guys to block.... What makes anybody think they'll just tag along as a camera man???

Actually, you don't need a camera at all; just a good dog, a place to hunt and reasonable shooting skills. I just don't get this video hunting stuff.

This is my 12 year old sons first time to pheasant hunt and I want to get his first pheasant on video plus seeing the dogs work is great also.
