Snake Avoidance This Weekend

yep, was not going to do this, but now my dogs have decapitated two in the back yard they think it is o.k. for any snake now. Crap!:(
 
Bring em down. I was there all day today. Got thru maybe 80 dogs no problem. Tomorrow is even more open walk ups encouraged. I won't be there but plenty of guys will. My dog was done last year and remembered lesson in Iowa about a month ago. Did him this year and he wanted nothing to do with the snakes. It works for sure.
 
Just go early to avoid renaissance festival traffic. It amazes me how many people they cram into that little fort on the weekends.
 
Hey Rob,
I took little 7 mo old pointing lab Brady down there on Sunday for his first snake training. Dale and Brenda had the two day event very well organized. I signed up on-line a couple of days ahead for the 9:30 Sunday session and had no waiting at all. It was the smoothest session I've ever had and I've been to about a dozen of them with the trainer, Julian.

As far as I know, the snake avoidance clinics are done for the year.

We had an impromptu snake avoidance clinic in our back yard with a western hognose that had eaten too much and couldn't fit through a hole under the shed. Our youngest pup, Cowboy, 1 year old had just been to snake breaking 2 weeks prior. He showed way too much interest in the trapped hognose. He was very cautious, peering at it from around the corner of the shed, but still too much interest for me. We zapped him with the e-collar a couple of times and interest went away. He will be signed up for the first available clinic next year. We put Cowboy and Blitz (2nd trip) through the clinic out at Valhalla at the beginning of the month.
 
Snake school

went for a nice drive to Perry Park this Morning(17th) for nothing. snake avoidance event was not being offered.

Have to check the date on original post. This clinic was offered back in June. Atleast it is a beautiful drive. Sorry for your confusion there bud.
