The Three Trails Pointing Dog Club is sponsoring a snake avoidance clinic on July 26th, at the James A. Reed Wildlife Area near Lee's Summit.

Great opportunity to educate your dog and reduce the risk of a snake bite during the season.

I highly recommend this training for all dogs, hunting or not, who might be around areas where rattlesnakes hang out--like my back yard in Aurora, CO.

I recommend snake avoidance training. I took my dog to Amarillo for training. My first plan was to host training in Dodge as a benefit for PF, but found out that it was not permitted in the State of Kansas due to the trainers using diamond back rattle snakes.

Were you there this year or in the past? I put my young dog through it this year

Find yourself back in Amarillo hunt me down, we can chase mine around for a day!
Thanks for the offer. I don't get around very well these days with two worn out ankles and one knee. I could block for a pheasant hunt but that is about it. These days it is mostly habitat work to keep the critters healthy and provide a place for my family to enjoy a rewarding hunt.
