HAHA thats a good one. I think he would sink honestly. But youre right, I got a beagle not really expecting him to be as good on birds as he is. Its all about growing his interest in it. Now, if he even smells the scent stick in the house he goes CRAZY.

With that said, he does have his limitations. He starts to struggle the thicker and taller the fields become. He has to start jumping to get through the grass and I think he might run into issues scenting at that point, but I have yet to NOT shoot a limit with him all 4 times I have taken him out
