I took the dogs out to where there are some liberated pheasants (hens) and quail. It was a good workout for them and they got a good amount bird contacts. Here are some pictures of them on some pheasants:

Only two more weeks until the youth season starts so I need to make sure the dogs are ready.
 
Always great photos. I've been training all summer 4-5 days a week just not upland but will jump that up in a week. Won't be long.:thumbsup:
 
I think you like the photo's as much as the shooting! Your boys look ready.
Been working Dugan slowly every night, he's coming along.

I do enjoy taking pictures. I don't know what I get until I get home to look at them. Plus the birds last longer.

I hope Dugan is ready to go for you. He's still got some time to get ready.
