Second count by DNR

we will leave about 2 am tomorrow, hunt near doland on wed, and near aberdeen from thursday thru saturday with a 10 month old Drat...and other dogs. It will be good to to visit good friends out there. We will walk our rears off and then have a few beers and whiskeys, bifore going out to eat and telling stories adn picking on our friends. Yes it is true. This is the best time of the year.

i respect you & what you are doing on your peace of land SDJIM & all the info you have passed along my way about the state of SD but i no way was i saying that the locals in the black hills should not be part of PF or not keep there money local thats what PF does but to not have local chapters trying to obtain & buy lands in the core pheasant areas of SD is just insane or selfish on the locals side if they dont want public lands in there area that is just plain B/S no way around that...

pheasants need a core area that will remain unharmed MN has huge tracts of public lands all in close proximity to 1 another that makes great core areas for pheasant the MNDNR helps make them lands better after they buy them the MNDNR is not perfect by any means but i think SD could do the same thing i the core pheasant hunting areas wear there is ZERO public land options even available to hunters all private lands or pay to play leases... even if they learned from the mobridge, aberdeen, huron & watertown areas them areas have a decent amount of public lands for a guy to roam why south central SD is so different is beyond me thats wear SDJIM can help me figure out why PF & the SD GAME & FISH cant get a few peaces of public lands for guys to hunt or to better the pheasant habitat in those areas???

thanks jim hope the best of luck to your & yours hunting your lands this season hunt safe & shoot strait
