Greetings, havent had much activity on the old UPH forum lately but it has been a good season thus far. Been mainly focused on ducks so far this season but the 4 times I have been out to chase pheasants I have been able to produce some birds (well my dogs have and the birds happened to fly into my shotgun pattern). It has been a good season thus far for me and now that duck season is essentially done I am really looking to focus soley on pheasant season. My 1+ year old Plott Hound mix ( Lab, Weimeraner and Plott Hound) has been getting some work on pheasants and chukars and is ppicking it up. He is fortunate to be able to learn behind my 2 year old lab Dixie. Anyways, heading out to Woonsocket SD this wknd for a Fri-Sunday hunt. Looking forward to visiting the beautiful prairies and wide open spaces and letting the dogs cut loose. Cheers everyone! :cheers:
